Everything in support of game development

In this section you can have a look at all the main secondary skills I have. 

 

I deeply believe in the importance of developing secondary skills to have a better understanding of the game development process and the main difficulties every part of a team can meet.

Moreover, I believe secondary skills can really help game designers to further develop their mind and think out of the box. Some skills can also support the development of a developer's career, depending on the specific goal each person has.

 

Digital drawing

Following one of my earliest passions

Since I was a child, I have never stopped being passionate about drawing.

I have always focused most of my drawing skills on the manga style. 
Working on some 2D game projects, I have also worked many times as a proper artist on the final artworks and game assets. 

After starting my master's degree in Advanced Digital Art, I've learned the fundamental basics of digital painting, starting to create professional-style works. 
 

3D Modelling and Sculpting

Stepping into the third dimension

During my learning process about 3D modelling, I have faced many different challenges, that brought me to change style really often, depending on the kind of project I was working on.
Most of my projects included a low-poly, cartoonish style. However, I have also worked on more ambitious projects, with more complex architectures and realistic textures. I have also made models with voxels and even experimented with the art of digital sculpting.
Studying at iMasterart, I expanded my knowledge towards 3D sculpture, managing to create numerous high-poly models.
I have also started to use these models as elements for concept art as well as pitching materials.

Creative writing

Writing complex and original stories

The creative writing is always part of the process that accompanies me in the creation of a new game design project. I deeply believe in the importance of giving a context to every element inside my designs, trying always to create the best connection between mechanics and ideas.

The Choice

The Choice is a story about love and connections between different lives. This project was born as a final exam for the "creative writing" module I passed at the university. The document contains the general plot of the story and explains how it is connected with the gameplay. It also gives a brief description of the main characters and contains a couple of script examples.

Love Machine

Love Machine is a small indie videogame project about the exploration of the human body with anthropomorphized elements.
I have created an original story and worked as a screenwriter, writing the entire script of the game.
